Stunning Yves Saint Laurent – Rive Gauche silk dress from the late 1970's with a bold multi-stripe & diamond plaid print. Made in France with exquisite tailoring and unique details. The substantial silk fabric and pleated skirt moves elegantly with every step. DETAILS Ruffle flounce collar and cuffs Button closure at back of neck and cuffs Inverted pleats in skirt Hidden size zipper & waist stay Belt included 100% silk, Made in France, Style 252 SIZING & MEASUREMENTS – Marked a size 42 (France). Roughly equal to modern size 10 US or 14 UK. Please see measurements above for more fit information. CONDITION - This YSL designer dress is in excellent vintage condition that is wearable as is. BUT upon close inspection, I found four small holes in the fabric in areas that are hard to see, mainly because they are hidden in folds. The holes in the left sleeve are the most serious, while the one by the right side seam is almost impossible to see. Please see last four photos for more details. Zipper, hooks, and buttons are still firmly attached and in perfect working order. No funky odors.
