Made on a vulcanised rubber sole which is squashed-on to the uppers when liquid to make a strong steam. The soles have different degrees of foaming in different parts of the sole to make them very slightly softer and more comfortable than other rubber-sole slippers, and the heel stiffener is part of the same rubber, so it's sure to bounce-back however often it is trodden-down. The uppers are fastened with a hook-and-loop touch fastening system, so there should be a good fit each time. Comfylux describe these as "standard fit" but they also describe them as "roomy", so it's a safe bet that they are wide.
