The shoe has a great mix of shock-absorption and a feel for the surface. It absorbs the sharp impact of stones and rock without making you lose contact with the surface. The shoe is at its best on heavy and wet trails. This means that it is not well-suited for road – so take a run in the forest, on trails, in hills and mountains, etc., but not on road and the like. Speedcross 4 replaces the classic Speedcross 3 and has been updated. The outersole has a 6 mm profile and has been made more durable. The top is reinforced even more and the tongue beneath the laves has been made with more material, so that it is softer. The shoe still has the quick and effective lacing system. The new sole, with its greater distance between studs, gives you great traction in mud, snow, etc., both when you run uphill, downhill, or along the side. Speedcross 4 exists in three variants: normal, CS, and GTX. CS stands for ClimaShield and has a water-repellent effect, but it is not waterproof.
