The chest might be about 1" roomy but it tapers to a clear 42 fit, maybe even a whisper slim at the belly.  Be sure and check all measurements below. The fabric is 100% wool in a year around weight.  It has a zig zag textured weave.  Also features great ribbon trim on the sleeve cuffs.  It's a 1 button single breasted with peak lapels, fully lined with working sleeve buttons.  Center vent in back.  Color is black.  Best representation on color and tone is the one of the sleeve cuff.  Sometimes the lighting on some of the others can make it appear lighter than it actually is.  Measurements: JACKET Sleeve (from shoulder hem to end of sleeve) 26 1/2" with 0" that could be let out due to working sleeve buttons.  Shoulder (from shoulder hem to shoulder hem) 19" Length (from bottom of collar in back to bottom hem) 32" Chest (from side to side underneath arms while coat is laying down, then doubled) 45" Belly (from side to side across middle button) 42"
