I paid a small fortune for these boots years ago and had custom footbeds done, I had gotten into running NASTAR gates with my friends,(for lunch) and these boots were the BOMB compared to my "dailies". They were precise and easy to control, just effortlessly fast on the course or anywhere you pointed them. I purposely bought 10's even though I am a solid 11, and only ran these boots ONE WEEK when we were goofing off on the racecourse. I'd change into my much softer Langes for the rest of the day. Well, on our last day at Vail, a bitterly cold and snowy one, I left them on since the pow was too good to stop for. We only made one run at the course since the snow started coming down hard. I didn't think much about my feet as we were happily making new tracks. They were cold, yeah, everything was. The snow was awesome though. When we finally quit after they wouldn't let us on the lift anymore, in the lodge it was pretty obvious that I'd frostbitten the tip of my right big toe, just because these boots were pretty darn tight for me. My toe recovered with no medical help or damage, but I never skiied in these boots again. They sat in a back bedroom for years. Kinda sad, but I had bought some cushy Salomons that were pretty good and more comfortable. There are some nicks and scrapes, almost zero sole/toe/heel/binding wear since these have maybe ten hours of skiing on them, and when walking I always protected the soles with CatTracks. I took out my cork footbeds and put some normal ones back in. I'm not sure where the original beds went, but not a loss, they were super thin and hard, not much to them. You may choose to invest in a set of Superfeets or put in something more custom.
