This exquisite watercolor beaded gown by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel's Fall/Winter 1997 collection, modeled by Kristen McMenamy, is a real masterpiece.  The gown showcases a delicate beaded trim around the bustline and straps, complemented by a stunning center panel in dark green, red, blue, and gold. The underlying watercolor print, softly muted and blurred by the black silk chiffon overlay, gives an ethereal allure to this breathtaking creation. The black flounce at the hem adds refined elegance.  The gown is in very good condition with no remarkable signs of wear.  Labeled in size FR40, I estimate it to comfortably fit a modern day size FR34-FR36,  please use the measurements as a guide for the best fit: bust 34", waist 28", hips 40", length 57".
