This is a hand made, very finely crocheted, detailed and dressy open over-jacket with 3/4 length sleeves.  If it is left open 2", the bust measures 35" which would best fit a size small or medium since it would have clothes on underneath. When I was small enough to wear it, the occasion never arose and it no longer fits. I have had it long enough for it to be at least vintage (30+ yrs?) and I didn't buy it new so it may be much older. It still looks unused and in excellent condition.
