This Vintage Valentino Red polka dot dress is probably from the Spring 2002 collection. This flamenco style midi dress is made from luxurious 100% silk chiffon red and white spots in different sizes. The top is a beautiful tie bandeau style with a cheeky opening under the tie. This has thin delicate spaghetti straps and a drop waist which gently cascades into delicate tiers of different spot size tiers of chiffon with a beautiful high low hemline, shorter at the front than the back, evoking the drama of a Spanish flamenco dress. This craftsmanship is evident especially in the internal corset boned bodice which is hidden inside the outer zipper and creates a beautiful silouhette. The front ties in place and can be adjusted for bust size.
