Chevrolet located the engine oil cooler and oil filter on the C7 Corvette close to the driver side catalytic converter causing heat transfer into the engine oil. Possibly making the ECM send the car into limp mode. By installing our converter heat shield we block this heat transfer and prevent the oil temperature from rising. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
